The Périgord Sites Association includes the most-visited tourist sites in the Périgord; caves, gorges, castles, medieval fortresses, parks and gardens, prehistoric parks, aquariums, theme parks, cave forts and cities, river-trips on barges. These sites and activities welcomed 1.5 million visitors in 2019.

These places, listed among the true jewels of the Périgord heritage, offer an array of journeys through time, space, and the natural world, giving a sense of adventure and creating beautiful memories for the whole family.

The eleven ambassadors for Périgord tourism have a joint communication policy, and work in harmony to promote the best and most enriching experiences the region can offer its visitors. They are Parc de Bournat, Château de Castelnaud, the Roc de Cazelle Caves, Château de Hautefort, the Marqueyssac Gardens, Gabares Norbert (river-boats), Gouffre de Proumeyssac, Maison Forte de Reignac, Roque Saint Christophe, and the Grotte de Villars.
